Eric Hess

Eric Hess was born in 1963. He earned a law degree at the University of Geneva in 1986 and was admitted to the Bar in 1988.

He then worked as an Associate in several Firms in Geneva, namely with Keppeler & Partners (1993-1998) and then as a Partner, with the Firm Peyrot & Partners.

Alongside his legal practice, Eric also became Assistant in the Criminal Law Department of Geneva University (including collaboration with Prof. Philippe Graven), and held a position of Deputy Judge at of the Supervisory Board of the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Offices.

Still alongside his practice, Eric led for more than five years the Legal and Compliance Department of a private bank in Geneva.

In 2010, he partnered up with Pierre Savoy and Imad Fattal then founded with them, in 2014, the Firm Hess Fattal Savoy.

He primarily practices litigation in the fields of private and criminal law, and advises in commercial and inheritance matters as well and estate planning.

Eric specializes in economic criminal law and international mutual assistance in criminal matters, as well as banking and compliance management.

Ever since 2011 he is also a Deputy Judge in the Geneva Criminal Court.
